Gold Coast Barges has the largest payload (22 tonne) of the maintenance barges for hire on the Gold Coast. We generally operate throughout the Gold Coast Canal system and the Broadwater, but also travel to the Brisbane River and Redcliffe Canals.

What is included in a barge hire?

Our barge is self propelled, so when hired comes with a fully qualified Cox to operate it. You have the option of hiring the barge only, or we can include a 5.5 tonne Excavator and Bobcat, complete with Operator.

Gold Coast Barges has a great partnership with Crane Operators, Truck Companies and other Earth Moving Contractors, so can also organise pretty much any other equipment you may need. So when you get your Barge Hire from Gold Coast Barges, you get more than just a barge, you get a team!
